TOUR 2011 – Week 1:Texas

Our summer tour has officially kicked off and we are stoked to let you know that we will have a blog following the team on the road at all the stops throughout their journey!

We left our hometown of Coeur d’Alene, ID on May 25th and headed out to Kerrville, TX with a pit stop for a day in Steamboat Springs with Christ 4 Life Skate Church.

We hung out with the all the guys in Steamboat for a few hours and had an amazing time with that group of people. Head over to www.christforlifeskatechurch.com and check them out or if you are ever in Steamboat Springs make sure to stop by. Amazing Ministry!

We made it!

After a few complications with our van, some long nights, and small town mechanical help we finally made it to Kerrville, TX and were set to demo!

We were reunited with Mr. Corey Chilton and his family. Corey is a BFC forefather and helped run a ton of the daily duties with the ministry in Coeur d’Alene for the last decade. He recently lived in Coeur d’Alene with all of us until late last summer when his family moved to Texas. Needless to say, we were stoked to be reunited with “DAD”

The demo was awesome. Impact Christian Church brought us in for a local outreach event and it was a blast! Super energetic crowd and some really powerful worship put on by the youth.
Here’s a few photo’s from the demo!

The place pretty much lit off at this point in time. So much fun to be a part of and we had a blast with this crowd!

Tyler speaking on what Jesus has done and is doing in his life! Testimony = Declaration of Truth.

On Memorial Day after our demo Corey and his wife Abi took us to San Antonio to tourist around the Alamo and Riverwalk in downtown.

Remember the Alamo.

Mike got tired, so Zach helped.

Johnny’s version of Abbey Road.

Yep, that’s the 3 pound cinnamon roll from MAN vs FOOD.

NIGHT SESH IN THE STREETS OF KERRVILLE

Johnny thought it better to go the other way. Ollie up the extended 4.

Overall, Texas was amazing. We had an amazing time, met so many amazing people, and got to tell those about the One who did it all for us!
